Chilli Fiesta at West Dean

Anyone going to the Chilli Fiesta at West Dean Gardens this weekend?

We're planning on heading down on Saturday.

I would love to hear what you think, West Dean is one of my favourite gardens to visit.

I had an email from Montezuma Chocolate, they're going to be there with their new range of chilli chocolates...

We went to it. I haven't been before, but it was insanely busy, apparently about 3 times as busy as it has been in recent years. I have to say it was a bit too busy to really enjoy it - couldn't get close enough to any of the stands, or talk to stallholders about their products.

I'm actually going to join West Dean - live locally and will go to other, probably smaller food festivals they have there (I think the chilli one is the famous one, and in summer hols) as well as visiting gardens - but I wouldn't particularly recommend the fiesta for a day out. More of a turn up on saturday morning and scarper by lunchtime affair.
