Cider Vinegar

The odd batch of cider that I've made has been accused , by people who are jealous I might add, of being slightly vinegary. Laughing

If I really wanted to make cider vinegar, what would I have to do differently than when I make cider? Is it something thats fairly easy to make ?

You need a mother.

Cheers bebo.

I've got a commercial sized press and apple mill, it might be something worth looking into. thumbup

I think you can just stick some vinegar in your cider, too, and the mother kind of appears. That's what you do to make 'proper' vinegar from red wine, anyway.
