Country lane nurseries, anyone any experience of them?As it says. They are local to me and I would like to know if anyone has had poultry/ducks and pigs off them, how would you rate them, and their livestock?
ETA: they usually have a big selection for sale at the smallholders show

Nice people, I once bought a goose that was guaranteed to be a female from them, turned out to be a gander.

I haven't been to them, as I was keen on some specific pure breeds and they only seemed to be selling hybrids, but if you do go then let me know what they're like!
Otherwise, have you tried Pentwyn Poultry? They're located just past Bethania and are where I got my girls from. The stock seems (to a total novice's eyes) well cared for and healthy, they were nice people, and my girls have been great - though they came down with sniffles within a few days of getting home, which the vet seemed to think was likely coccidiosis, but they didn't get very sick at all with treatment and have been fine since.
