Creating a website that allows clients to download filesI want to design a site that allows clients to see documents, put them in a shopping basket, pay for them and then download the files they've selected. How do I do it?
I've got Yahoo SiteBuilder as my web software. Thanks all.

Any shopping cart software should allow you to do that. I only have experience of Zen-Cart with downloadable files, so can only recommend that.

Zen Cart seconded. You will need need to download it, install it (quite straight forward), and configure it (again, not difficult, but definitely not a five-minute job either).
An essential requirement for Zen Cart and others like it is that your web hosting space must include support for PHP and MySQL.

Yahoo Sitebuilder just won't cut the mustard for something like that - you need to make use of specific software - Such as the afore mentioned ZenCart - I'd reccomend downloading something like XAMPP from http://www.apachefriends.org/en/index.html to give you a suitable environment on your PC and then using that to install Zen Cart and play around with the software until you are confident with it
Then once you are happy you understand what you are doing - mirror the installation on a suitable host running the right sort of environment as BA recommended
