Can't see any difference to be honest. Weirdly, Mandy had accidentally reset to 256 colours this morning, and all the forum colours seemed a lot clearer to me, until I changed it back.

It achieves what I was looking for, it still looks black but is slightly warmer

You'll really have to look carefully but there's black on both margins of the brown boxes, about 2mm both sides on my screen
