Default mail clientI recently switched back to Thunderbird, unfortuantely I can't seem to set it as the default mail client. I've told SeaMonkey that it's no longer the mail client but TB says it can't modify the necessary registry entry (Win2K) to set itself as the default...

Can't remember the reg entry but if you start up Outlook Express and set that as default then let TB take that over. Everything expevts to see OE so it should sort of find it's way home.

Pick up a free disk from one of the outlets PC World/Tesco/Asda
Use windows explorer to find the OE file on the disk and just install that.

Rememebr that ISPs done always give away the full product and have tuning kits so that their version of IE works they way they want it. The most common switches are clearly branding but there are a lots of available options for them to play with.

Didn't have to install OE, you can set default mail client in IE.
