Delicious Dip

Drain 1 x tin of artichoke hearts. Place hearts in food processor. Add 1 garlic clove, 1/4 teaspoon of ground cumin, a light grinding of salt and pepper, a pinch of fresh thyme plus a splash of olive oil. Blend until smooth then place in bowl and drizzel olive oil over the top. Serve with hot pita bread or wholewheat toast.

Oh that sounds Nom - I am on a roll with dips at the moment - I made hummous at the weekend as well as a butter bean pate which I added a little more oil than I should of accidentally and it turned into more of a dip, all served with home-made breadsticks - shall do the artichoke one next time Smile

Oooh I love hummous and bean pate! Try a bit of smoked paprika in your hummous next time you make it.
