i will not be judgemental
i will oppose the insane gaining power and help them regain reality if i can
i am horrified at the attitudes of these people regardless of how they reach that state of understanding
i hope the age of reason is still now
i dont know that medication would help but they remind me of folk from my time as a mental health carer
i hope no body is offended by my thoughts on this

Haven't seen it so can't comment on the programme.
But I would say that in general the minority, loud, intolerant,extreme view tends to get the most air time.
After all, who wants to watch a moderate, liberal, Darwin supporting, old earth supporting, Christian talk about their support for well managed embryo research?

I agree that is a worry, if people are guided strongly by faith they shouldn't seek public office imho.

i hope you saw the chap who sees war with islam as inevitable in a multicultural britain and the barrister who knows she wants to use the acceptable face of fundamentalism to rule

can the sensible folk who want everyone to be nice deal with this problem ?
i dont remember my granpas mates in the methodists being so overtly insane or fascist eddie the benedictine monk who i shared a house with for a year ,climbed with and trusted for advice never had attitudes like these peeps ,the catholic nuns i worked for were a picture of tolerance and good sense , are this lot so rabid because nobody has explained they have missed the point ?

I'm sure they were about. It's just that extreme views get more and more air time now. In fact, when did reality TV stop being about reality, or was it never so?

Probably never. Reality is only being able to find one matching sock when you're half asleep and cleaning baby sick off your shoes. It doesn't make for thrilling TV.
