You can pull their necks like you would a chicken, or you can use the mops tail method.

Thin iron bar (12mm steel) over neck and pull legs from as high up the bird as possible.
Dont use an axe...very bloody and messy.

Broom handle. I hate doing it - they seem to be conscious for longer than chickens, even if you take their head off.

& they've more weight behind them when they start flapping, so hold on tight!
I pulled too much once: the head came off, and then the body slipped out my hands & flapped it's way 6 feet off...
