no, dont be silly

as with the previous 2 series there will be some cracking episodes (most likely written by Steve Moffat) mostly average episodes and some terrible ones (probably written by RT himself) it will be just as good as doctor who always has been

That screeching thing that's got it's own 'comedy' series. Catherine Tait? Played an aggressive, shouty, annoying thing (well, when I say 'played', she turned up and did the same as she always does) in the Christmas 'special' two years back.

I don't know whether she'll work or not - there are lots of things that I don't like about the revamped show and even more I love

The choice of Catherine Tate as a new assistant is controversial - I'll be honest I don't actually like her series or any of her characters - I find them deeply deeply annoying but I did quite like Donna - she was so different to the loved-up Rose and the mooning Martha - she see's the Doctor with totally cynical eyes, she doesn't really trust him but can't get him out of her head and knows that he really is dangerous to be around - Martha realised that at the end of the last series

Lets she how she plays out - I really hope I don't want to smash her face in by the end of the first episode

I love the look of the Adipose though - They are soooo cute if deadly

I am with bagpuss on this one - CT wouldn't have been my first choice of doctors assistant ( because if course that would be me Wink ) but the series looks great from the trailers and there will be plenty of non Catherine Tate stuff for people to enjoy Very Happy
