I should think that bit might swing it?

I don't think that he objects to them as a food. It's the keeping them and the pooing everywhere and the having to build a pond...

Not sure that there will be much left to eat on a runner once you have taken his clothes off.

Well you don't have to build them a pond - a child's rigid paddling pool would do the job.

That's what I would have said too...not that I know anything about ducks.

oooohhh they are so cute!
We have just got three new girlie ducks, they do make a mess, but they are such fun to watch.
My OH was dead set against them (had no choice in the matter) and he loves them now

Snap!
I got mine from Freecycle, and he went spare when I came home with them. Then he built fort Knox for them, and now he really likes them.
We had Miranda (the lady duck) at school this week for pets presentation day. She loved it - all the attention and getting patted, and she didnt pooh once. I think she'd have stayed all day if allowed.
Malibu wasnt having it at all, so we left him at home. Boy, was he glad to see her come home.
Want some ducklings now.......... same as them - Aylesbury cherry valley type white smiley ones

I'd like a duck or two, but i need to convince the OH and sort out where they'd go. The first issue be hard to tackle, but maybe one day.

I was at the cheapy poultry auction at Hallworthy today - quite quiet and prices for sellers atrocious.
I came home with................................
4 more ducks!
They are about 10 weeks old and settled right in with the two existing ones. Really funny to watch! The very smallest one out of the 4, Jenny, plays the submissive duck brilliantly.....lies out otally prone with neck outstretched! Miranda the older duck has adopted her now.....really funny and cute.
Guess how much?
£2.50 each........shocking! Couldnt leave them!

They are irresistable aren't they. When this little tribe hear me coming they kick off like an alarm........and stand there doing a sort of hokey cokey whilst I'm dishing up their food.....then dive in like little rockets.
Anyone want some lovely cute little duckywuckies??? 9 of em in total.

Open of offers or always willing to 'swap' for something
Just collected our Goslings ready for Xmas...... MONSTERS already

I think that swapping them for Arvo would be a little OTT, though, and I suspect that that's what it would involve

Anyone interested? I really must find homes for them as I'm running out of room ....and the Xmas Goslings have arrived now
