Eggs with two yolksCan you have two chiks in the same egg like you can have two yolks in the same egg

Almost certainly not - there wouldn't be enough room for them both to develop properly. It would be nice if you could though.

What an interesting question! Not that I've ever heard of, it would rely on having two developing embryos in the same egg which is highly unlikely & even if the chicks did begin to develop they would most likely not survive to hatch just because of the lack of space.

We used to get eggs from my friend's mother and they always had double yolks. I never really thought of what might happen if they were fertile!

Apparently the world record is nine yolks in one egg

Interesting bit here on Wikipedia
Double-yolked eggs occur rarely, only leading to observed successful hatchings under human intervention, as the unborn chickens would otherwise fight each other and die.
I'll google further.
