elderflowers

Do you get elderberries of the same tree as elderflowers? and when can i expect to get some?
Jonnyboy

Flowers first then the fruit forms. Sep/Oct is about right for the berries.

Oh, yes, forgot the cordial, thats good stuff Smile

They're a fine berry for the repertoire of a forager. Not in my view as useful as blackberries, but still, tasty.

I think that the finest application of them is in blackberry and elderberry wine.
