End of Elderberry seasonWell I have been out and got about 16lb of Elderberrys and Blackberries today, but aside from one very good find it was hard work  I fancy making some wine at 4lb of fruit to the gallon so may have one last bash tmorrow morning to allow for 5 gallons, but round here I think we have hit the end of season
I did get 5lb of Sloes in passingas they are super abundant, I am wondering a little if Elderberry, blackberry + Sloe wine would work?

We have elderberries and Sloe coming out of our ears up here. Its not over yet if you are prepared to travel

I agree. I made soem elderberry, sloe and blackberry jam and that's delicious. Still got tons of elderberries here, many not ripe. Blackberries are pretty much gone though

elderberriespicking 16lbs a trip tween 3 of us still here in top suffolk sloes are far from ready elderberries are just fattening up hips n haws the sane the leaves have started falling from the conkers so winters not far off
