ewe knocked horn offmy sheep are mostly polled - but one had an under developed horn - a small curl of it. Today I see she has knocked it off, and has blood on her face. The base looks a bit gory..
What is the recommended thing to do about it?

I recall one of the goats at work doing similar some years back, I think teh recommended advice was just a squirt of that purple spray and keep an eye on it in the first instance

Yep, that is what I do with my doe who has slight scurs from disbudding. She and her sister engage in who's da boss, and she inevitably loses the stumpy bit. Spray and keep dry, it heals pretty quick. If it is bleeding a lot I use cornflour to clot it.
