Farmers Markets - all different ?Those of you who do more than one FM each month - how do they differ ? Do you find you have to adopt a different stall layout / sales technique / different product range for each one ?
Even within a relatively small radius, it is weird.
Meat sellers say different cuts sell better than others at different markets (never mind seasonality and what customers might want as a result eg roasting joints vs summer BBQ chunks)
Indoors is very different to outdoors, regarding atmosphere and spped of sale.
Today, I did my first outdoor FM, in cold weather.
Lessons learned re outdoors :
If you can get folk to try, they will buy (even the least likely, and s*d your demographic analysis)
Indoors they will hum and ha
Stay till the end - desperate folk in need of... summat... will buy if you're still there
What other wisdom from experience can you share ?

Not a stallholder, but a regular visitor to different markets...
By all means change your stock about to suit different market, but make sure you've got some 'branding' so people looking for you know what to look for from a distance.
