The screen on a pc in work has developed a greenish cast but there are no blank areas, just the colour is wrong and cannot be adjusted. I have a vague memory of reading somewhere that this is a damaged cable rather than a damaged screen. Is this a possibility? I know I could change the cable to check but I am being idle and I don't really want to fiddle with the other elderly but working well pc, especially as it's pretty inaccessible under the desk and heaps of books. tahir Re: Faulty screen or faulty cable? Cathryn	Okay, thanks, it's a surprisingly grubby job working in a bookshop (and it's physically hard work!)
12Bore	Poor connection of RGB cable, before replacing, unplug and reconnect. Sometimes also "cured" by switching off and rebooting (honestly!).
sean	Too late. She's been trapped under a desk for two days now...
