first goose egg of the season today !They were reluctant to go to their grazing today .... and the reason ... plain to see a lovely big egg in the 'nest' of sawdust in their hut this morning. Once laid it was - 'let us at the grass  '
Has anyone else started laying yet? (their geese that is !!)
Last year it was on 16th Feb ...

One of mine started on 26th January. At least two of the three are laying now. About a week later than last year.

No, but in the last 4 days the old gander doesn't want his son sharing his house again.
