first step for a sustainable and ethical village in FranceHello,
I am french and I would like to live in a ecovillage. I just bought my house near Autun (Bourgogne), and we are (my wife and my 3 children) in a great environnment (woods and nature surrounding).
So we don't want to move, but we are looking for someone to start something here ( the first step for an ecovillage, I hope).
Our garden is very big (10000 m2) and we have 2 rooms that we can free at first. It will be a great opportunity to help each other and a possibility for one person or a couple to discover another country. A lot of projects could be begun. Don't hesitate to mail me or to use MSN, for questions or talk.
Thomas
PS: Sorry for the mistakes, my english is not very good.

Thanks for your answers.
And thank you very much Irene (you see, I used your links quickly).
At the moment I work in a van making pizzas ( for 3 years now ), and my idea is to share some activities and some gear.
And long term, with the savings, develop and invest in other profitable activities. I think we must relocate trades and create some local business if it ever disappeared.
So that's a big plan but we should develop it little by little.
And join together homes ( helping each other as I said ), is the first steps. My neighbours are not particularly sensitive with ecology, and some friends who could be interested with this plan have ever set up elsewhere. That's why I thought it could interest english people and that's the reason of this forum.
I have to go to work now, but it will be a pleasure to answer any questions after ( I finish at 9 pm usually so 7 pm in your country I think ).
Thomas.
