The thoughts were not pleasant. IMHO, the look of things is fine. Certainly top level. (But perhaps "About us" could do with some spiffing up...) However, the navigation of articles is, IMHO, still slightly obscure. (eg from the six "leaf buttons" you'd never guess the existance of the "news and comment" section (including the book reviews!) Could I suggest reclassifying "news about downsizer" into "About us" and all the comment, etc pieces into "Opinion" articles - under "Articles"? (Then "News & Comment" can disappear from the "Main Menu"...) Which then leads to the goal of parity between the six leaves and the Main Menu... Perhaps Links (and if you really want a Gallery, that too) moving in with Glossary? BTW Congratulations on the leaves, and their very tasteful rollovers (but I do notice the slight text shift on rolling over the other buttons but not on "About us" - and do the LHS buttons shift more, or is that me?) |

I still regard the leaves as unfinished, as points like you have just made above still need adrressing. | ||

Just to be clear, I *like* the text shift - its a lovely subtle empasis, but consistancy counts! |
