Found loads of Chanterelles and blewitts todayHelloes!I was over the moon today when I discovered loads and loads of chanterelles and blewitts in Leeds. The hilarious part though, is where I found them. They weren't in some pristone woodland growing amongst the moss on banks of streams, or in lush green grass....... but in a skip.  I can't believe that after years of searching, I finally get to experience chanterelles by digging them out of a skip. What a funny old world it is eh?

But they must have got in there some way. What else was in the sikip?

Just to correct any misconceptions............they weren't exctly growing in there.  They were in elegant wooden crates with mesh covers. I also found some avocadoes, loads of figs and some mangoes. the day before i got a tin of bamboo shoots, loads of melons, oranges, clementines....... it varies really. Have a look at this video to see what I mean.
