Free Xmas Candle....

Nothing more frugal than free.... Very Happy

If you join the Airwick fresher homes club...

http://www.airwick.co.uk/

You can download a printable voucher for a free "Mulled wine and crackling fire" Candle...they are in most of the supermarkets, so shouldn't be hard to track down. So you can think nice thoughts of me when you light it at Xmas Wink

Think this is the second freebie I've had since I joined...I had to recommend some friends for it this time (Sorry MJ - but you'll get a voucher too!)

does it smell nice or chemically? I'm all for a freebie candle, but a lot of those airfreshener things smell so artificial.

Will check it out thog, thanks for flagging it up Very Happy

Actually I usually think the spicy ones are OK??? I'd have to agree with you on some of the others (zen garden Rolling Eyes type of thing) but all the winter fruit, cranberry, apple/cimmamon ones I've had have been fine. I have a bit of a weakness for scented candles and if the OH ever finds out how much the big Yankee candle jar I bought to go with their gorgeous purple glass shade with owls on cost...he'd probably divorce me...oh wait...we aren't married! That's all right then! Wink

You mean you don't wait till they're on sale Kate?
Shame on you ... letting the side down an' all that Wink

I've never actually bought a huge one but I did buy 2!!!! medium Yankee one's last Christmas, Balsam and Cedar ... I think they were a discontinued line but their smelt lovely.

We lit (burnt?) them all last Christmas and every now and then over the year and they've only just reached their end.

Oh, BTW, TKMaxx usually has some ridiculously expensive candles ... the 30 type in a gorgeous presentation box (how much?? Shocked) for a fiver or so.

Damn! Youv'e discovered my secret! I feed them reduced meat so I can indulge myself in gewgaws Embarassed

Have a look at this:

http://www.yankeedoodle.co.uk/x-cart/

They have a lot of stuff in the reduced sections...that would make good gifts, especially some of the bigger packs split up? I don't have anyone to buy those sorts of things for now...but it's a good 'brand name' looks quite classy KWIM?I discovered a shop in Carmarthen that must carry the entire range last time I was there. Quite amazing (but I didn't buy anything - was sorely tempted - but resisted)

I have candles for Xmas this year from Ikea...and some very chi chi little clear glass candle holders that take a candle one way up, and a tea light the other....64p each Laughing
