Gold Campine cockerelHello! Anyone want a gold campine cockerel? We are quite happy to eat him but as he's a rather uncommon breed, I thought I'd see if anyone wanted him to breed from before we do away with him. IT seemed a shame to not give him a chance to breed but our neighbours have drawn the line at cockerels.
He's from a very good strain and I got the eggs from Sign of The Owl near Ivybridge in devon and they seemed to have a very good setup with lots of very healthy birds. He's very alert, gorgeous plumage (even at only 7 weeks old) and is already doing his best to crow. 
We just want £10 to cover cost of feed etc. Or he's off to the pot.
