Totally off-topic, but I think Frewen looks least like I ever expected any forumer anywhere to look. Laughing Laughing

Not watching Gordon - scallops in the freezer and no TV in kitchen. Laughing

Does he keep saying "Come on" rather annoyingly? One of my sisters is commenting on it on Facebook....
Barefoot Andrew

He does rather... and slapping his hands. But it's been worth watching for all the quips and gags Laughing

Have you ever tasted Bingo's chocolate mouse? Mmmmmmmmmmm

We cooked along with him, very nice too Smile

The mousse is in the fridge though, gonna have that shortly, well some of it.

The scallops with salsa were delicious.

Barefoot Andrew

Wonder if Barbara avoided any hot splashes...

hedgewitch

Um... could you explain for people that don't watch TV as a rule? Do you do the cooking in time with the programme?
Jamanda

Only works if you've a telly in the kitchen I suppose.

Yep, one hour, live show, three courses.

Fried scallops with tomato and olive salsa
Steak, chips and salad
Chocolate mousse.

Not a lot, really, except you also had to eat it as well as cook it. Smile

Fun show.

Was a bit, Paul was talking over Gordon quite a bit, which didn't help Rolling Eyes So he got told off a bit near the end Wink

It would have been more stressful if you weren't much of a cook.

Yeah, Hedgewitch, in time with Gordon live, he had some celebrity guests and some people on webcam doing it with him too, then he did a few fill-in recipe challenges with other celebratits and there were adverts while you ate.

Pretty good really, I'd do it again if he does another.

Barbara was funny Very Happy
hedgewitch

Hmmmm... does sound fun. Laughing
Fee

Oh, but we were still eating main when he finished off the pudding, they must have wolfed it down!
Barefoot Andrew

And I don't suppose he does the washing up either...

That could have helped a lot, i kept dashing between the kitchen and the living room, and we put the volume up...that was another reason Paul got told off, he kept hovering in between the kitchen and living room (he was trying to help, i know!) Laughing

Meh, the washing up will wait, but we did use a lot of pots and pans!
Barefoot Andrew

Embarassed I meant it's alright for him to cook and leave the chores to other folk, not that you're not doing the washing up Embarassed

That;'s not men. that;s pro chefs. Altough a venn diagram would show an interesting area of overlap, I suspect. .. Rolling Eyes
Fee

Laughing Right, back to that wine, and perhaps a little sample of the mousse.
Stewy

I was really looking forward to it but as soon as Moyles opened his gob that was it for me, shame really as I really like Ramsay but I thought it was a load of cack to be honest.

If anyone wants a copy of it then give me a shout but be quickish cause I wan't to erase the disc.
welsh lamb
