Grape vines for saleHi , we have taken over the National Collection of vines from Brian Edwards - he continues to advise us - and we have taken cuttings that are available for sale for despatch mid November.
We also provide bare wood cuttings for you to propagate yourself - and thereby making the full collection available ( all 500 or so varieties !) to anyone interested.
see www.sunnybankvines.co.uk
and feel free to email me if you have any questions about growing vines - a year in I have learnt a lot, including going on the Plumpton course and if I get stuck Brian is on the end of the phone to help.
cheers, Sarah , Sunnybank Vine Nursery , Herefordshire

Excellent news, welcome on board. I'd been worried about what would happen when Brian retired (I bought 27 cultivars off him a couple of years ago).

Great ! thanks for the welcome ! I hope they are growing well - and I am always interested in how varieties perform in different parts of the country - so if you do have time I would be interested in hearing how they are performing .. good and bad ... cheers, Sarah

Unfortunately what Brian delivered differed from what I ordered, and then I never got round to recording what I planted where, and then I relied on Brian's labels being permanent marker, and then we lost about 4 of them....
So no good at all. There's another of Brian's customers (James) here and he's much better than me, hopefully he'll pop along soon with something useful.
