Congratulations - that's a lovely pic and a lovely lamb.
Her mum's lovely too and she's really proud I'd imagine by the attention she's giving her.
Don't worry about wanting to tell the world. We've had sheep for ages and I still think it's a bloomin' miracle when a lamb's born and want tell everybody.

We were watching the lambs at Avebury yesterday - they were playing "king of the castle" on the stones...it was wonderful to watch!

Lovely piccy Judith. I love piccies of very young lambs, I've got 3 on my screensaver in work... I think my long-suffering colleagues all think I'm mad but they're too nice to say anything!!!

Thanks everyone (and lovely pics Callie and HWH).
I think I'm turning into a neurotic first-time lamb owner - I was convinced they would both be dead when I came out this morning! Fortunately mother is a lot more sensible and they both enjoyed a hearty breakfast followed by a lie down in the early sunshine.
