Sorry, was a dashed request whilst at work. It's a large organisation (120) that wants to make work together on a green initiative - I need to think of the resources required to make it happen, how easily people can get involved, what impact we can make. We don't really have a focus - it would need to be something people can do whilst in the office - i.e. recycling something or producing something. Sorry to be so rubbish, I can't think of any guides! | ||

even just putting a note on the bottom of each e-mail sent out asking folk to think about the environment and only print if necessary would be good - a simple thing to do.
Other than that, why not get all the employees to work out what they'd like to do ( much better than dictating from on high as it were) Thinking about all the procedures and systems in your office; can you work through them all and see where the wastage is (be that resources of any sort) and cut down? Tim's office is doing something like this at the moment and their first task was to set some benchmarks - you can't see how effectively you've reduced electricity until you know how much you use in the first place etc etc. |
