Good idea....how much?
Hairyloon

Doesn't look cheap... and I tend to go with the Ritz policy: "if you have to ask..."

But nonetheless, I've sent them a query. I'll let you know what they say.

Think it would be cheaper to build your own in many cases. Wonder what happens if it is below the water table; does it float upwards?

This is pretty similar to what I wanted to do some time back, but the garden levels did not work at the time.
Like everyone else though, the question is "how much"?

£5,800 maybe not....

£5,800 maybe not....

Is that the fully installed cost? Still dear. Confused

I wonder what, if anything the patent covers?
sean

Quite like the firetent.

If you are above the water table and in well drained ground, yes it probably is cheaper to build your own. Waterproofing a DIY ground fridge is where your money and effort will go.
Septic tanks are prevented from floating by metal hooks attached to the tank and then the tank encased in concrete.
Mistress Rose

I had heard about septic tanks floating, which is why I asked. If you are below the water table, I would think even that might be a bit tricky. Fully sealed, but if the water comes up it could still get flooded.
