We now have three very large haggis, one utterly ginormous haggis and a few strange sausagelike haggis having a boil on the stove. Doesn't the spare parts of two sheep make an awful lot of haggis Shocked

oops, one just exploded, but nil desperandum, its innards have been strained out and will be turned into refried haggis instead. That was a definite learning wossname about not overstuffing your haggis.

i admit i cheat and make my haggi in pudding basins. - we processed 3 lambs plucks into haggi.. still have a couple lurking in the freezer. must eat the big one soon though, as i need the basin for thingymas pud

plenty of pepper and nutmeg
overstuffing can be a problem as oatmeal swells
ace for practising surgical technique ,pinch cut stitch cook ,if it survives you are able to do apendectomies etc Laughing
my mate who taught me basic surgery was taught to stitch with haggis and sausage
