We've just caught up with some old friends for lunch, who are now all parents (except us), so it was a different kind of lunch than it used to be, but damn nice.
We met up for lunch in a pub on the other side of the bay that used to be an absolute dive, but where HT spent his teenage years, therefore we used to meet up there when we were all up. Well, it's had a complete makeover (Peter Davis, man from the Pru (who has a very dominant holiday home here), bought it and has piled a bit of money into it, delicious food, hugely overpriced, lovely job though.
I drank too many pints, now I'm hiding fromthe outlaws upstairs in the guise of working
