hello allhello,
I'm pel from west-wales, i am starting a new business, whilst finishing my HND in Agriculture in Aberystwyth university. I have a husband, who has just been given his PHD in the same uni, at present he is doing a Master of Physics. I also have a dog, 2 snakes, and 2 fish, and volunteer once a week at my local National Trust property on the farm.

Hello Pel
I live near Aberystwyth. I hope you enjoy it here. Llanerchaeron? (I think I've misspelled that.) It is a great place. I don't know the farm part though.

There seems to be an increasing bias towards wales on this forum - rather worrying.......

Why? WHY??? Whaddya mean 'why?'
It could well be a conspracy by the sons of glendower.

I guess its due to the lower house / land prices. More avaliability of properties & the lovely countryside.
When we were looking for a place the only places that repeatedly came up were Wales & Scotland. The trouble with the ones in Scotland were that we would find out about them Mon-Wed & by the time we could go at the weekend to view they were sold.

No idea what a 'conspracy' is anyway...

Some of us were born here. And made a decision to return because where else would anyone want to live?

He's trying to put the Welsh off their guard by spelling with too many consonants and not enough vowels.

Hello Granwitch welcome
There does seem to be quite a few from west-wales. Good guess Ruby, yep at Llanerchaeron, the farm is the smelly bit, well only the pigs, even though they get cleaned out everyday. Also the walled garden has a door which leads out into the farm yard with a pole barn, which at present is housing the guernsey bullocks, welsh black heifers, and last years calves. Also the end of the lambing ewes.
