Hi everyone!Glad to be on board. I'm a newbie to this forum thingy, so I'm still feeling my way around.
The hubby and I downshifted from London to Devon nearly ten years ago now. We chose Devon because we both have roots and/or family in the West Country and love it down here. Should have done it a lot sooner!
We live in a small, rural hamlet (no street lights, no shop and, alas, no pub) where we grow our own veg and keep a few chickens. The hubby works in education and I'm a self-employed crafter, working from home.
Am looking forward to getting involved in discussions...

Hi - I missed this before. I also work in education in Devon. And we moved here from London about five years ago.
Welcome to the site!
