Hello from LeamingtonHello,
I'm new here as you can probably tell. My name is Kirsty, I'm 21 and I live in Leamington Spa though I am orginally from Swindon.
I was told I should join by a friend as I quite enjoy cooking but I'm not that good at it  an example is I tried to make muffins the other week but I forgot to add the sugar... and baking powder.
Just thought I should introduce myself as I rarely post of forums but I like to dwell some where in the back ground

Hello Kirsty,with a little time and encouragement youll be doing stuff you never dreamed of...like putting all the ingredients in the cake mix 
you are in good company, some of us have made mistakes that end up being a new ininovative idea

We do tend to talk a lot of cake on this forum. I hope you enjoy it. Me, I never forget to put ingredients in when I am cooking.

Best cake disaster was for a friend's daughter : gingerbread cake, but used plain flour instead of self-raising >>> birthday brick, more like
