Hello from new memberHello everyone, I've been reading this site rather than doing housework. I live on a small new estate near Risley Moss which is a nature reserve but used to live on a smallholding..
Some of the ideas I do as a matter of course & always try to get the last out of jars/bottles etc.
I made mistake of using our wool duvet whilst it has been warm without duvet cover as they can be too heavy & it's got a bit marked - men do sweat even when clean don't they? Also the cat honked & a little went on the duvet.
Any ideas what I can do with it. I can't fit it in my washer to spin dry it.

Welcome aboard.
I've no idea about the duvet apart from maybe going to a laundrette and using one of their big machines.

Add a duvet cover again. Out of sight, out of mind

Hello from new member - washing wool duvetYes I had thought of that but wondered whether they have wool programmes on the machines. I take husband's oily mechanics overalls there so as not to spoil my machine but have never taken anything else.
I read somewhere that someone put one in a bath & trod it which I'd love to do but wondered how on earth I was going to get all the water out of it and then dry it, as it seems summer is almost over!

Welcome I recently took the plunge and carted our monster heavy mid winter feather duvet to the laundrette, much the easiest option in the end and it survived the experience really well
