Hello from Sunny SussexHello Downsizers
I live with my OH and daughter on a smallholding in East Sussex, we have been here for nearly 14 years and still there's fencing that needs doing !! We breed pedigree Welsh Badgerface sheep, rear the odd pig - as in occasionally and also sometimes strange !! keep handful of chickens for meat and eggs and try to grow veg We also have 3 dogs, 6 cats and 3 horses - and a day job !! but luckily work from home nowadays.
Off to read up on what you are all up to

JB, you kept that quiet. I knew you were in the south-east but didn't realise you were in East Sussex. Did you ever get your Light Sussex hens?

On hold while I get the allotment under way, the herb garden constructed and some construction projects done in the house (I have a terrible habit of trying to do too many projects simultaneously). But it means either starting up in autumn which might not be ideal or waiting till next spring.

My breeding programme is up an running and I should have some 16 week old birds ready by late summer and then more coming through every three weeks. Bear me in mind when you decide you want some.
