Wow, thats interesting.I shall look them up on my sheep chart.
This is a lovely village ,as dpack ,says so dont worry about buying a lord from ebay, we will enjoy having a lordlonk in our village.

Lonk's aren't officially classed as a rare breed in many cases (RBST for one) because they are still very much commercial and numbers are good - their problem comes in how poorly spread out they are - they're all concentrated around east lancs/west yorks/north derbys so when F&M hit that area there were fears they'd die out.
Apparently they are very ancient and when crossed with other mountain breeds will always improve maternal traits, fleshing and wool but never the other way round
A king amongst sheep IMO and I'm dying to get my mitts on some...
