Hens need new homesI would expect this guy has put this up on freecycle groups around the country. But in case he hasnt......" Brighton Animal Rights have been given legal permission to remove 13,500 chickens from a farm starting Fri March 30th. They will have 6 days grace, after that any that are not rehomed will be sent to slaughter. There will be a home check, but anyone able to take 2 or more should contact Bob Riley 01536 771881 or northantsanimalrights@yahoo.co.uk I cant personally have hens, just no room though I would dearly love to have some. I have had Bob's permission to post this |

We are collecting 11 hens from The Hen House tomorrow, 4 for us and 7 for friends. We contacted Adele Hall who is the northern representative and shes been great. We have built a new chicken house and I'm starting to get really excited.

Six girls coming at the weekend. Someone is even dropping them off, as they are already bring some to a bird sanctuary in Cirencester. They think they may have managed to re-home about 4000 of them, which is brilliant Come on MJ - you have to persuade Gervase now
