Hi from Compost John, YorkHello from an already downsized person, Compost John in York.I live a low impact lifestyle see http://lowcarbonlifestyle.blogspot.com/ and am involved in many projects including York in Transition, York Rotters, LETS, St Nicholas Fields, Community Composting Network, and others. I work as an entertainer 'Professor Fiddlesticks' and also write a column/blog http://www.communitycare.co.uk/blogs/green-living/ about ethical issues. I love meeting other 'greens' and Transitioneers, Freegans and creative types. I'm always happy to show peeps my compost toilet and other composting systems, wormeries etc, share my dried fruit and love of woodstoves, bicycles etc. I also sell and swap compost... How lovely to see all these hellos... I'd love to say hello to you all individually and I will try to make time (the only truely non-renewable resource!) to visit all your websites and look at your profiles...
I've just learned that my Community Care column/blog will finish this summer, but it will give me more time to continue with my low carbon lifestyle, perhaps improve on things... I'll revisit this forum soooooon! John x |

yes .. i have investigated the joys of such sites .. freecycle is having problems with passwords presently
