Hi, from the PeaksHi, I thought I best come and introduce myself. I have a small holding presently, but I have owned and raised a variety of livestock over the years - too many to recall.
Currently, I have Horses, Dogs, Turkeys, Chickens, Ducks and new to us pigs, oh and an ancient cat. In the past i've had cows, calves, lambs, geese, you name it plus a variety of domesticated pets.
In the incubator we have guinea fowl, bantams, and ring necked pheasants. I like to grow our own food, that includes for the dogs and have been relatively succesful so far.
Living near the Pennine Bridleway I also offer holidays for horses, they can bring their riders too I work a lot with horses, including breaking them and re-training them when they have been let down by owners with less horse sense than is required.
Our most recent resident is a 14week old Bloodhound named Emily, whos more work than the rest put together!
I am here to peruse your wealth of knowledge as I am wise enough to know you never know everything about anything.
Hope to be able to give advice where I can and gain knowledge when it's needed.

Hallo & welcome from a coldish but very wet part of France. I remember parts of the Pennines from holidays spent there in my teens ...generally coldish & wet, as I recall, but beautiful none the less
