Hidden benefits to working from homeOne of the great and silly joys of being self employed with my best beloved is that I can give in to a passing whim to pat my co-worker on the bottom during office hours with a completely clear conscience

Naughty Sally!
I rather like being at home too. Except I really should be doing housework just now, and I just can't be bothered. If I go and wake the baby up, does that mean I won't have to clean?!

It's known as 'afternoon delight' in this house.
Started when the youngest went to school and carried on ever since.

Howard & I are on holiday this week. After a hectic weekend, we spent the afternoon tucked up in bed eating chocolate brownies and watching At The Races tv
Picked two winners. Wouldn't mind earning my money like this.

Perks of the job? Walking over the common with the dog when I need to think about an idea or project, tuning in and watching my son on tv in the afternoon, making lunch when I want to eat it. The disadvantage is never being able to turn off and feeling guilty if I'm not working when there's so much to do.

One of the other things I like is....
being able to stop and actually enjoy what we have.
Yesterday, after a busy morning we sat out by the pond and watched a couple of late dragonflies.......there was no clock or boss to spoil it...okay so we worked a half hour later, but .......he was in such a good mood then, that he cut my cockerel for my weathervane!!!
Only been waiting since April for my birthday present
Everyone else gets their stuff made except me....
