HogweedFound a load of Hogweed, anybody got any good idea's what to do with it?

Firstly - be absolutely certain it isn't Giant Hogweed, which is very nasty. Secondly - I don't know - I would be vary wary of eating any umbellifers (or what ever they are called these days)

It's not the giant stuff, I tried it on myself last night........I'm still here.

go and buy a load of hogs and feed them with it !!! I've tried it years ago and it was terrible.

I actually like the stuff. All I do is boil it for a couple of minutes - you don't want to over do it otherwise it becomes too soggy - or you can steam it. Then add a squeeze of lemon juice and a bit of butter.
By the way, you need the shoots ONLY, i.e. the leaf and stem before it opens. If you try and eat the open leaves then it is horrible!
