Home made soap questionI have just found a tub of soap I made at least 6 months ago.
It was hot processed using mainly olive oil. It has not "set", by that I mean it is still quite soft and sqidgy.
Can I add chopped up rosemary leaves and use it as a body scrub? Would I have to treat the rosemary in any way first?

Ok, first thing is to work out why it hasnt set. When you tongue test it, is it grease heavy, 'soapy' or lye heavy? I would expect it to be one of the first two.
What oil mix was it, and are you certain you did the maths for the lye accurately. Is it possible you used one oil with a recipe for a different one?
Once we've worked out why it didnt set we can determine what its best for

Definitely greasy/oil heavy.
I can't remember what other oil I used.
It is quite likely that the lye calculation was wrong, I almost certainly substituted oils in a recipe.

I reckon you will be fine to turn it into a body scrub if its oil heavy, you certainly won't hurt your skin with it that way round. personally, I'd add salt and any herbs you fancy, but that might actually harden it up.
Failing that, mix it with washing soda and use it for laundry, the soda will 'finish off' the oils, but I wouldnt put that near your skin
