How early do french housewives get up?Mmmheaven - fresh baked bread. The stoves works well for baking - only problem is, the loaf's been out 5mins and we may have already eaten half of it 
But - it took 3 hours of proving and people always say the french bake their own bread really well and stuff - what time do they get up!?

Very true. I'm an oddity to our French friends, for many reasons which include baking our own bread.
You can always leave it to prove overnight then you don't have to worry about early mornings!
