How high?I'm extending my chicken pen over the weekend, and was wondering how high a fox will jump/climb?
I know that a closed roof would be optimal, but cost is a factor for me so I'm looking at alternatives.

At least 6ft IIRC, and they can dig under it.

At least 6ft. If you make the fence angle out at the top similar to prison fencing than that helps also. Or make the top foot 'shoogly' so the cant get a proper grip and fall off.

the secret wit the fox fence is to make it wobbly strong hex mesh for 3 foot 1.5 inch best as they can't get a snot in to bite then sheep fence or bigger mesh left wobbly then climbing is out they don't like to feel insecure ( but then who does!!) alanb
