How is a newcomer to the site

supposed to find all the traders?

I want to find Blacksmith's website, so I went to the Trader's page from the icons at the top and he doesn't seem to be there - on a quick shufti a number of others who have banners aren't there either.

I can find blacksmith by searching the members because I know he exists, but for a non-member wanting to browse what our traders sell it would be no good.

This is an anomaly that needs fixing, but we've not dealt with it at all. I think we need a staff room chat about it.

as a compleate non techie i have often had to search members or just keep clicking on new pages until the right banner appers Embarassed
would it not be possable to just have a page of banners, one below the other when you click on the traders page?

And I bet the one you want always takes aaagggeeesss, while every other banner flashes up 15 times. Twisted Evil That's normally the routine whenever I change my own banner & want to check it's working. Laughing

and the worst bit is you get into the routine of clicking refresh that it becomes automatic and the banner you wanted flashes past but you have always clicked forward once more and the back button doesnt always bring the banner back Embarassed

thats exactly what I ment but have never found it, I wonder how many other secret hidden gems there is on the fantastic Downsizers web site???


PS was it my imagination or did I see a downsizer banner ad on another site on the google ads?? it poped up on the forum index page but I had gone to list new posts and it wasnt there when I went back
