I do 5 min at mark 9 then 25 or 30 at mark 7 depending on if it is a long loaf or ordinary "2lb" loaf tin. (granary sourdough bread) |

Anybody else here use Dan Lepard's recipes and techniques but ignore his timings? For example for a basic loaf he seems to suggest times of up to an hour or more, which would be fine if you were making bricks rather less appropriate for bread. |

That's great, thanks. Ended up that I found that if the core temperature is 190deg it's done.
It turned out really nice! And very low effort ;0) |
