How long to bake a 1kg loaf? (Bread currently raising)

Hi all,

Could anyone tell me how loing to bake a 1kg (flour weight) loaf? My recipe doesn't give a time and it's raising now!

I do 5 min at mark 9 then 25 or 30 at mark 7 depending on if it is a long loaf or ordinary "2lb" loaf tin. (granary sourdough bread)

Anybody else here use Dan Lepard's recipes and techniques but ignore his timings? For example for a basic loaf he seems to suggest times of up to an hour or more, which would be fine if you were making bricks rather less appropriate for bread.

That's great, thanks. Ended up that I found that if the core temperature is 190deg it's done.

It turned out really nice! And very low effort ;0)

You must set the ad_network_ads_377.txt file to be writable (check file name as well).
