How nicemy wife and I have just been for a walk around our Hamlet, our nearest neighbours about 1/4 mile away were in their garden with some of their friends, all of them in their 70/80s, they were picking plums, as we went past we called out our usual bonsoir and were invited in to help with the harvest, they gave us a bag to fill and told us to make "clafoutis" apparently a Limousin dish, as we were leaving we said our thanks and was told by one of the ladies that it was distribution, just thought I would like to share this with you.

I have acquired a pile of eggs from some very nice people. Cherry clafoutis for pudding I think (Got one boiling right now for my dinner )

Strictly speaking, clafoutis should be either cherry or apple. However, we made one with Rene Claude greengages the other day, and it was scrummy!!
