How nice

my wife and I have just been for a walk around our Hamlet, our nearest neighbours about 1/4 mile away were in their garden with some of their friends, all of them in their 70/80s, they were picking plums, as we went past we called out our usual bonsoir and were invited in to help with the harvest, they gave us a bag to fill and told us to make "clafoutis" apparently a Limousin dish, as we were leaving we said our thanks and was told by one of the ladies that it was distribution, just thought I would like to share this with you.

Strictly speaking, clafoutis should be either cherry or apple. However, we made one with Rene Claude greengages the other day, and it was scrummy!!
