How old is beekeeping?THIS appeals to me, a lot
but I'm wondering - how long have people been keeping bees? rather than harvesting wild honey.

I remember it well.

It's a good book to read.
Changed my outlook on the way we keep bees & I would definately recommend it to anyone considering taking up the craft. Could save them a small fortune as well as keeping more natural & thus happier, healthier bees.

I was going to say something about Romans and having an idea that Pliny wrote about bee-keeping - but vegplot's quote rather puts the Romans in the shade.
