How on earth do I .........Put sleeve gussets in?
I have a manly work workshirt cut out,I have time, I have a new sewing machine,but I cannot work out how to put the damn things in!

Do you mean an artists overall type shirt? I had one but it's sleeves were three-quarters and baggy, so didn't need gussets.
When I put gussets in a mediaeval dress, I cheated and used two triangles (per sleeve) instead.

I've got to make more shirts soon, I'll try to work out where the kitten has hidden the camera charger and will take step by step photos of that bit. Basically, you sew in one side of the square gusset to the sleeve whilst its flat, then the other side when you sew up the sleeve treating the gusset and sleeve as one piece
