I got told all about this a few months ago, the creator had organised a workshop and she and some of the participants came into the yarn shop I was in later. i ended up following her about the shop to examine her scarf.
anyway, I got taught to do more than chain and a couple of rows of singles that afternoon and have since been making hyperbolic bath scrubbies.

I went to the coral reef and it was fab. At first glance it looks like a bit of an old-fashioned-knitted-toilet-roll-cover sort of exhibition but upon looking more closely some of the work was absolutely stunning
